Wolf Alice played in Czech for the first time last year. They attracted attention as soon as they introduced the first singles. After their debut album
My Love Is Cool, the band started touring outside the UK including a show in Prague. They received nominations for prestigious Mercury Prize, Grammy and Brit Awards. Their song
Silk was picked by the director
Danny Boyle for the movie
T2: Trainspotting. Last year, the band dedicated to their sophomore record called
Vision of a Life, which comes out
September 29th and will consist of twelve new songs, including three already released singles
Yuk Foo,
Don’t Delete the Kisses and
Beautifully Unconventional. Album was produced by
Justin Meldal-Johnsen who is a long-time collaborator of
Beck and also worked on the last Paramore and M83 records. The new record is supposed to be more independent, according the singer
Ellie Rowsell:
“The main thing we learned from making the first album is that you only regret the things you don’t do,” she told
NME.
“This time around, if we had an inkling of an idea, even if it seemed a bit silly, we’d try it out and see what happened.”
